Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive global procurement strategies to ensure supply continuity.
- Lead high-value contract negotiations with key suppliers to maximize cost savings and performance.
- Oversee end-to-end purchasing cycles, ensuring compliance with internal policies and quality standards.
- Analyze market trends and supply chain risks to proactively mitigate disruptions.
- Foster long-term, mutually beneficial relationships with strategic vendors and partners.
- Mentor and lead a cross-functional procurement team to hit quarterly operational KPIs.
- Collaborate with finance and operations departments to forecast budgetary requirements and inventory levels.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience in purchasing or strategic sourcing within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven track record of managing multi-million dollar annual spend portfolios.
- Expert-level proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite preferred).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data for decision-making.
- Professional certification such as CPSM or CSCP is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills with experience managing remote or international teams.
