- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Operations, and Finance to streamline purchasing processes.
- Manage vendor performance metrics and conduct periodic audits to ensure compliance with company standards.
- Oversee the procurement budget and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality.
- Lead and mentor a team of purchasing specialists to ensure professional development and operational excellence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, purchasing, or supply chain management within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven track record of managing high-value spend and achieving significant cost reductions.
- Expertise in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics).
- Exceptional negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong understanding of global trade, logistics, and compliance regulations.
- Professional certification such as CPSM or CSCP is highly desirable.
