Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive global procurement strategies to ensure supply continuity and cost leadership.
- Negotiate high-stakes contracts with international vendors to optimize terms, pricing, and service level agreements.
- Oversee end-to-end purchasing lifecycles, ensuring seamless alignment with production schedules and inventory turnover goals.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to improve supply chain resilience and mitigate geopolitical and economic risks.
- Analyze market trends and commodity pricing to provide actionable financial forecasting to the executive team.
- Mentor and lead a team of procurement specialists to drive high-performance benchmarks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in strategic sourcing or purchasing within the manufacturing sector.
- Demonstrated expertise in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics 365).
- Proven track record of managing multi-million dollar annual spend portfolios.
- Exceptional analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Professional certification (CPSM, CSCP, or CPIM) is highly desirable.
