Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive global sourcing strategies to reduce procurement costs and improve delivery timelines.
- Manage end-to-end purchasing activities, from RFPs and vendor selection to contract negotiation and lifecycle management.
- Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with key strategic suppliers to ensure high-quality material availability.
- Monitor market trends and commodity pricing to mitigate supply chain risks and inform long-term purchasing decisions.
- Lead cross-functional efforts to improve inventory turnover ratios and streamline procurement workflows.
- Mentor a team of procurement specialists, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
- Ensure full compliance with industry standards, legal requirements, and internal financial policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management.
- Proven track record of delivering significant cost savings through effective vendor negotiations.
- Deep understanding of ERP systems (SAP or Oracle) and advanced proficiency in data analytics tools.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex market data and financial reports.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at an executive level.
- Professional certification such as CPM, CPSM, or CSCP is highly desired.
