Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive global procurement strategies to ensure supply chain continuity.
- Negotiate high-value contracts and service level agreements (SLAs) with domestic and international vendors.
- Analyze market trends and economic indicators to mitigate risks and capitalize on cost-saving opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align purchasing efforts with production schedules and project timelines.
- Manage and mentor the procurement team, fostering a culture of excellence and operational efficiency.
- Conduct regular supplier audits to ensure compliance with company quality, ethical, and environmental standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience in purchasing or strategic sourcing within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven track record of managing multi-million dollar annual spend budgets.
- Expertise in ERP software (SAP, Oracle) and advanced data analytics tools.
- Strong certification preferred: CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management) or APICS CSCP.
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and leadership capabilities.
