Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive global procurement strategies to support organizational growth.
- Negotiate high-value contracts and service level agreements with international suppliers.
- Monitor and analyze market trends to mitigate supply chain risks and price volatility.
- Lead a high-performing purchasing team to achieve departmental KPIs and cost-savings targets.
- Collaborate with engineering and operations departments to streamline material requirements planning (MRP).
- Manage supplier performance audits and foster long-term, strategic vendor partnerships.
- Implement lean procurement practices to improve operational efficiency and inventory turnover.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in procurement or strategic sourcing.
- Proven track record of managing complex global supply chains in a manufacturing environment.
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP or Oracle) and analytical tools (Excel/Power BI).
- Exceptional negotiation skills and a deep understanding of contract law and supply chain logistics.
- Professional certification (CPSM, CSCP, or CPIM) is highly preferred.
- Strong leadership capability with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.
