Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive global procurement strategies to ensure cost-efficiency and supply chain continuity.
- Lead complex contract negotiations with international and domestic suppliers to optimize pricing and payment terms.
- Analyze market trends and supply data to mitigate risks and identify potential cost-saving opportunities.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to forecast material requirements and maintain optimal inventory levels.
- Manage vendor performance through rigorous KPIs, audits, and quality control initiatives.
- Mentor and lead the junior purchasing team to foster a culture of excellence and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in strategic procurement or purchasing within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven track record in successful high-value contract negotiations and supplier relationship management.
- Deep understanding of ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and advanced data analytics tools.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret market fluctuations and supply chain disruptions.
- CPSM or APICS certification is highly preferred.
