Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive global procurement strategies to ensure cost-efficiency and quality.
- Lead contract negotiations with Tier-1 and Tier-2 suppliers to secure competitive pricing and favorable terms.
- Monitor market trends and commodity pricing to proactively manage supply chain volatility.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Operations, and Finance to align purchasing goals with production schedules.
- Manage and mentor a high-performing team of procurement specialists and analysts.
- Oversee supplier performance metrics (KPIs) to ensure strict adherence to SLA and quality standards.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in procurement processes and digital transformation efforts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 7+ years of progressive experience in strategic sourcing and procurement within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Proven track record in successful high-value contract negotiation and vendor management.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in ERP systems (SAP or Oracle) and advanced Excel.
- Professional certification such as CPSM or CSCP is highly preferred.
- Exceptional leadership abilities with a focus on team development and process optimization.
- Ability to thrive in a global, matrixed organization requiring frequent cross-cultural communication.
