Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive global sourcing strategies to reduce costs while maintaining quality standards.
- Lead contract negotiations and manage long-term relationships with strategic suppliers and vendors.
- Analyze market trends and economic factors to forecast supply chain risks and purchasing needs.
- Oversee the full procure-to-pay lifecycle, ensuring compliance with corporate policies and financial standards.
- Collaborate with engineering and production departments to ensure materials align with product design requirements.
- Identify opportunities for process automation and digital transformation within the procurement department.
- Monitor supplier performance through KPIs and conduct regular performance reviews to ensure high service levels.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management.
- Proven track record of successful contract negotiation and cost-reduction initiatives.
- Expertise in ERP software (SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics) is highly preferred.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data to drive decision-making.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.
- Professional certification such as CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management) or CSCP is a significant asset.
