Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive global procurement strategies to ensure supply chain continuity and cost efficiency.
- Negotiate high-value contracts with key suppliers, focusing on pricing, lead times, and quality assurance standards.
- Analyze market trends and supply base capabilities to identify potential risks and new business opportunities.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Operations, and Finance teams to align purchasing efforts with company goals.
- Lead, mentor, and coach a team of procurement specialists to drive department performance.
- Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements and company procurement policies.
- Implement advanced purchasing software and ERP tools to enhance data-driven decision making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field; MBA is a plus.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in strategic sourcing or purchasing management within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Proven track record in vendor negotiation, contract management, and complex problem-solving.
- Strong technical proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite) and MS Office Suite.
- Exceptional leadership skills with experience managing high-performing, cross-functional teams.
- Professional certification such as CPSM or CSCP is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
