Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive global procurement strategies to reduce costs and improve supply chain agility.
- Negotiate high-stakes master service agreements and long-term contracts with domestic and international suppliers.
- Monitor and analyze market trends to mitigate supply chain risks and ensure continuity of material flow.
- Lead cross-functional collaboration with engineering and production teams to align purchasing efforts with project lifecycles.
- Mentor and coach a team of buyers to foster professional growth and operational excellence.
- Implement advanced purchasing software (ERP) to streamline procurement workflows and reporting transparency.
- Oversee supplier performance evaluations and conduct quarterly business reviews to ensure quality and compliance standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, purchasing, or procurement within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven track record of successful contract negotiation and cost-savings initiatives.
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics) and data analysis tools (Excel, Tableau).
- Strong knowledge of global logistics, trade compliance, and vendor risk management.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Professional certification such as CPSM or CSCP is highly desirable.
