Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive procurement strategies to achieve organizational cost savings and efficiency goals.
- Manage end-to-end sourcing processes, including RFP/RFQ development, vendor selection, and contract negotiations.
- Monitor global market trends and supply chain risks to proactively mitigate disruptions.
- Build and maintain long-term, high-value partnerships with strategic domestic and international suppliers.
- Analyze purchasing data and performance metrics to identify cost-reduction opportunities and process improvements.
- Oversee departmental compliance with safety, environmental, and corporate ethical sourcing standards.
- Mentor and lead a team of procurement specialists to ensure professional excellence and high performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in strategic sourcing or purchasing management within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven track record of managing multi-million dollar annual spend portfolios.
- Expertise in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and advanced procurement software.
- Exceptional negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Professional certification such as CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management) is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and lead complex projects.
