Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive strategic sourcing plans to identify and secure optimal suppliers for critical materials and services.
- Lead complex contract negotiations, ensuring favorable terms, conditions, and pricing while mitigating risks.
- Proactively manage supplier relationships, conducting regular performance reviews and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, production, and finance teams to forecast demand and align purchasing strategies.
- Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track purchasing effectiveness and identify areas for cost reduction and efficiency gains.
- Conduct thorough market research and spend analysis to identify new sourcing opportunities and mitigate supply chain risks.
- Oversee inventory levels and collaborate with planning teams to optimize stock and minimize carrying costs.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, ethical guidelines, and regulatory requirements in all purchasing activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management, with at least 3 years in a senior or leadership role.
- Demonstrated expertise in strategic sourcing, vendor management, and complex contract negotiations.
- Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced analytical tools.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with a data-driven approach.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and leadership abilities, with a knack for building strong internal and external relationships.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Professional certification (e.g., CPSM, C.P.M.) is highly preferred.
