Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive global sourcing strategies to ensure supply chain continuity.
- Negotiate high-value contracts with tier-one suppliers to achieve cost-efficiency and performance metrics.
- Manage end-to-end procurement processes, including RFPs, vendor selection, and performance monitoring.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align purchasing goals with production schedules and inventory requirements.
- Analyze market trends and economic factors to mitigate supply chain risks.
- Lead and mentor a team of procurement specialists to drive operational excellence.
- Maintain compliance with international trade regulations and company sustainability standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Minimum of 7+ years of progressive experience in strategic sourcing or purchasing management.
- Proven track record of managing multi-million dollar vendor spend and complex contract negotiations.
- Deep proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and procurement analytics software.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret market data and financial statements.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build and maintain executive-level vendor relationships.
- Professional certification (CPSM or CSCP) is highly preferred.
