Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive global sourcing strategies to reduce costs and improve quality.
- Manage end-to-end procurement processes, including RFPs, contract negotiations, and supplier performance tracking.
- Build and maintain high-level partnerships with strategic global vendors and manufacturing partners.
- Analyze market trends and economic factors to mitigate supply chain risks and ensure continuity.
- Lead cross-functional teams in optimizing inventory levels and lead times for critical components.
- Implement advanced purchasing software and ERP tools to streamline operational workflows.
- Ensure full compliance with international trade regulations, safety standards, and corporate governance policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or Finance; MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in strategic purchasing or procurement management within a manufacturing environment.
- Expertise in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and advanced data analytics platforms.
- Proven track record of managing multi-million dollar annual procurement budgets.
- Exceptional negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Professional certification such as CPM, CSCP, or CPSM is highly preferred.
- Strong leadership capability with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
