Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive global procurement strategies to optimize costs and supply chain reliability.
- Lead contract negotiations with Tier-1 and Tier-2 suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and favorable terms.
- Analyze market trends and economic data to mitigate supply chain risks and identify new sourcing opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Operations, and Finance to align purchasing activities with production demands.
- Manage the end-to-end purchasing lifecycle, from requisition and RFQ processing to final delivery and performance review.
- Implement and maintain rigorous vendor compliance and quality standards across all procurement categories.
- Drive continuous improvement projects to streamline procurement workflows and adopt digital supply chain tools.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA/CPM preferred).
- Minimum of 7+ years of progressive experience in strategic sourcing and purchasing within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven track record in successful high-value contract negotiations and supplier relationship management.
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics) and data analytics tools (Tableau/Power BI).
- Strong knowledge of international logistics, trade compliance, and procurement regulations.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated leadership experience in mentoring procurement teams and fostering organizational growth.
