Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive global sourcing strategies to reduce costs and improve lead times.
- Manage end-to-end procurement processes, including RFPs, supplier selection, and contract negotiations.
- Monitor and analyze market trends to proactively identify risks and opportunities in the supply chain.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure timely procurement of raw materials and components.
- Oversee supplier performance evaluations and conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Mentor and lead a team of procurement specialists to achieve departmental KPIs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience in strategic purchasing or procurement management.
- Proven track record of successful contract negotiation and cost-reduction projects.
- Strong proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics).
- Exceptional analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision making.
- Professional certification such as CPSM or CSCP is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication and leadership capabilities to manage global vendor relationships.
