Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive global procurement strategies to support organizational growth.
- Identify and vet high-quality suppliers, conducting rigorous audits and contract negotiations.
- Manage end-to-end purchasing cycles, from requisition to delivery, ensuring cost-effective procurement.
- Lead cross-functional teams to streamline supply chain processes and mitigate logistical risks.
- Analyze market trends and price indices to forecast budgetary requirements and cost-saving opportunities.
- Maintain compliance with industry standards, legal regulations, and internal procurement policies.
- Mentor junior procurement staff and oversee departmental KPIs and performance reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field; MBA preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, purchasing, or procurement roles.
- Proven track record of managing multi-million dollar annual procurement budgets.
- Advanced proficiency in ERP software (SAP, Oracle) and data analytics tools.
- Strong negotiation skills with an ability to influence stakeholders at all organizational levels.
- Professional certification such as CPM, CPSM, or APICS CSCP is highly desirable.
- Deep understanding of global trade regulations and supply chain risk management.
