Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive global procurement strategies to ensure cost-efficiency and supply continuity.
- Negotiate high-value contracts with tier-one suppliers to achieve favorable terms and long-term partnerships.
- Lead cross-functional teams to identify and vet new domestic and international suppliers.
- Monitor market trends and commodity pricing to proactively adjust purchasing tactics.
- Oversee end-to-end procurement processes, including RFPs, purchase orders, and inventory compliance.
- Manage vendor performance metrics (KPIs) to ensure quality, delivery timeliness, and service standards.
- Mentor junior procurement specialists and streamline internal procurement workflows.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or Finance; MBA or CPSM certification is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in strategic sourcing or purchasing, preferably within the manufacturing sector.
- Demonstrated expertise in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics 365).
- Proven ability to negotiate complex contracts and manage multi-million dollar budgets.
- Advanced analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data visualization tools.
- Strong understanding of global logistics, trade regulations, and inventory management best practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to manage diverse stakeholder relationships.
