Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sourcing strategies for raw materials and MRO supplies
- Manage supplier relationships, negotiations, and performance evaluations
- Analyze market trends and optimize procurement budgets
- Oversee contract management and compliance with procurement policies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align purchasing initiatives with business goals
- Implement continuous improvement processes in the supply chain
- Lead purchasing team of 3-5 professionals
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field
- 8+ years of progressive purchasing experience in manufacturing
- CPSM or CIPS certification preferred
- Expertise in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and e-procurement tools
- Proven track record in cost reduction and supplier diversification
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills
- Experience managing international supply chains
- Leadership experience with direct reports
