Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the end-to-end procurement process for raw materials and goods.
- Negotiate favorable terms, pricing, and delivery schedules with suppliers to ensure cost efficiency and quality control.
- Analyze market trends and supplier performance data to identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key vendors and stakeholders across the organization.
- Oversee inventory management systems to prevent stockouts and minimize excess inventory costs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including logistics and operations, to align purchasing goals with business objectives.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management.
- Proven track record of successfully negotiating contracts and achieving cost savings targets.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced data analysis skills.
- Certification in supply chain (e.g., CPIM, CSCP) is a plus.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor junior staff and manage cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
