Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive purchasing strategies aligned with company goals to maximize value and minimize risk.
- Lead the end-to-end procurement process for key commodities, including raw materials, logistics services, and indirect spend.
- Negotiate and manage complex contracts with vendors, ensuring favorable terms, pricing structures, and performance KPIs.
- Analyze market trends and supply chain data to forecast demand and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to foster a collaborative ecosystem.
- Oversee inventory management policies to prevent stockouts and reduce excess carrying costs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum of 7+ years of progressive experience in strategic purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management.
- Proven track record of negotiating contracts and managing vendor relationships in a fast-paced manufacturing or logistics environment.
- Expert proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and procurement software.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
