Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive procurement strategies aligned with business objectives to drive cost reductions and improve operational efficiency.
- Manage the full procurement lifecycle, from supplier identification and qualification to contract negotiation and ongoing relationship management.
- Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to identify new sourcing opportunities and emerging industry trends.
- Leverage data analytics to forecast demand, manage inventory levels, and mitigate supply chain risks effectively.
- Negotiate favorable terms, pricing structures, and service level agreements (SLAs) with key vendors and suppliers.
- Lead cross-functional teams to ensure procurement activities support production schedules and project deadlines.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical sourcing standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field required; Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in procurement, supply chain, or logistics management.
- Proven track record of successful contract negotiation and vendor relationship management.
- Strong proficiency with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable business insights.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive change.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
