Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end procurement processes, including sourcing, negotiation, and contract management.
- Develop and execute strategic sourcing initiatives to reduce costs while maintaining quality standards.
- Build and nurture long-term partnerships with global suppliers to ensure supply chain resiliency.
- Analyze market trends and economic indicators to forecast price fluctuations and adjust buying strategies.
- Manage the procurement budget, tracking KPIs and reporting on cost savings to executive leadership.
- Ensure full compliance with industry regulations and internal procurement policies.
- Mentor and coach a team of procurement specialists to drive continuous performance improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience in strategic purchasing or procurement management.
- Proven track record of managing high-value international supplier contracts.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and data visualization tools.
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Professional certification such as CPSM or CSCP is highly preferred.
- Experience in the manufacturing or heavy industrial sector is a significant advantage.
