Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive global sourcing strategies to optimize supply chain performance.
- Negotiate high-value contracts and service level agreements (SLAs) with domestic and international suppliers.
- Monitor market trends and commodity pricing to mitigate supply chain risks and capitalize on cost-saving opportunities.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Operations, and Finance teams to align procurement goals with business objectives.
- Implement lean procurement methodologies to reduce lead times and enhance inventory turnover ratios.
- Manage vendor performance metrics, conducting regular business reviews to ensure adherence to quality and safety standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA is preferred.
- 5+ years of strategic sourcing or procurement management experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven track record of managing multi-million dollar annual procurement budgets.
- Expertise in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics 365).
- Strong negotiation skills with a deep understanding of contract law and international trade regulations.
- Professional certification such as CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management) or APICS CSCP.
