Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive global procurement strategies to ensure high-quality material availability.
- Lead complex contract negotiations with tier-one suppliers to achieve optimal pricing, payment terms, and service levels.
- Monitor market trends and commodity pricing to mitigate supply chain risks and capitalize on cost-saving opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Engineering and Operations, to align procurement activities with production goals.
- Mentor and lead a high-performing purchasing team to achieve departmental KPIs and excellence in vendor management.
- Implement and refine digital procurement tools to enhance data transparency and forecasting accuracy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in strategic purchasing or procurement within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven track record of managing high-value spend categories and achieving significant cost reductions.
- Expertise in ERP systems (SAP or Oracle) and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret market data and financial reports.
- Professional certification (CPSM, CSCP, or CPIM) is highly desirable.
