Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive global procurement strategies to optimize spend and supply chain efficiency.
- Negotiate high-stakes supplier contracts to secure competitive pricing, favorable payment terms, and consistent service level agreements.
- Manage end-to-end purchasing cycles, ensuring 100% compliance with internal procurement policies and international trade regulations.
- Monitor market trends and commodity pricing to mitigate supply chain risks and capitalize on cost-saving opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal department heads to align procurement activities with long-term business goals and project requirements.
- Mentor and lead a team of procurement specialists to drive high performance and continuous professional development.
- Maintain and audit supplier scorecards to ensure consistent quality and delivery performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or CPM certification preferred.
- Minimum of 7+ years of professional experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain management.
- Expert-level knowledge of ERP systems (SAP or Oracle preferred) and advanced data analytics tools.
- Strong negotiation prowess with a proven track record of managing multi-million dollar vendor spend portfolios.
- Deep understanding of international logistics, trade compliance, and inventory management principles.
- Exceptional analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills to build long-term vendor partnerships.
- Demonstrated leadership ability in managing diverse and fast-paced procurement teams.
