Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive global sourcing strategies to achieve cost, quality, and delivery targets.
- Lead complex negotiations with key suppliers to ensure favorable pricing, terms, and service level agreements.
- Manage the entire procurement lifecycle, from initial requisition to final vendor payment.
- Analyze market trends and supply chain risks to proactively mitigate disruptions.
- Mentor and lead a high-performing team of procurement specialists and analysts.
- Implement advanced inventory management strategies to optimize stock levels and cash flow.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders in production, engineering, and finance to align purchasing with operational goals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience in purchasing, strategic sourcing, or procurement.
- Proven track record of managing multi-million dollar annual budgets.
- Expertise in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics 365).
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data visualization tools.
- CPM, CPSM, or APICS certification is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
