- Manage end-to-end vendor lifecycle, including sourcing, vetting, negotiation, and performance benchmarking.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align purchasing activities with production timelines and budget constraints.
- Monitor market trends and commodity pricing to mitigate financial risks and capitalize on savings opportunities.
- Implement data-driven inventory management practices to optimize stock levels and minimize waste.
- Lead and mentor a high-performing team of procurement specialists to achieve departmental KPIs.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant procurement regulations, industry standards, and internal quality protocols.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in strategic procurement or purchasing management within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven track record of managing multi-million dollar vendor portfolios and complex supply chains.
- Exceptional negotiation, analytical, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
- Expertise in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of global logistics, trade compliance, and international purchasing practices.
- Professional certification such as CPSM or CSCP is highly desirable.
