Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive global sourcing strategies to reduce costs and mitigate supply chain risk.
- Negotiate high-value contracts with tier-one suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and favorable payment terms.
- Lead cross-functional teams to improve inventory turnover and operational efficiency.
- Monitor market trends and commodity pricing to proactively adjust procurement strategies.
- Manage vendor relationships through regular performance audits and collaborative business reviews.
- Oversee the full lifecycle of the purchasing process, from RFQ issuance to final contract award.
- Implement lean procurement practices to drive continuous process improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or Engineering; MBA preferred.
- Minimum 7+ years of progressive experience in strategic sourcing or purchasing within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven track record of managing complex global supply chains and multi-million dollar budgets.
- Expertise in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and advanced data analytics platforms.
- Strong negotiation skills with a deep understanding of contract law and international trade compliance.
- Exceptional leadership abilities with a focus on mentoring high-performing procurement teams.
- CPSM or APICS certification is highly advantageous.
