Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive global sourcing strategies to reduce costs and improve lead times.
- Manage end-to-end procurement processes, including RFPs, contract negotiation, and supplier onboarding.
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with Tier-1 and Tier-2 suppliers to ensure material quality and reliability.
- Analyze market trends and economic indicators to mitigate supply chain risks and price volatility.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Engineering, and Production, to align procurement with organizational goals.
- Monitor and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to drive continuous improvement in purchasing operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in strategic purchasing or procurement management.
- Proven track record in successful high-value contract negotiations.
- Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite) and advanced MS Excel.
- Strong analytical skills with an ability to interpret complex data to support decision-making.
- Professional certification (e.g., CPSM or CSCP) is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills with experience managing vendor stakeholders.
