Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive global procurement strategies to ensure cost-efficiency and supply chain resilience.
- Negotiate complex vendor contracts and service level agreements (SLAs) to maximize ROI and minimize operational risk.
- Manage end-to-end purchasing lifecycles, from RFQ/RFP generation to final supplier selection and performance monitoring.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Operations, and Finance to forecast demand and align purchasing strategies.
- Lead vendor audits and performance evaluations to ensure compliance with quality standards and ethical sourcing policies.
- Identify and implement innovative supply chain technologies to drive automation and data-driven decision-making.
- Mentor and lead a high-performing procurement team to achieve departmental KPI targets.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience in strategic purchasing or procurement management, ideally in the manufacturing sector.
- Proven track record of managing multi-million dollar budgets and achieving significant cost savings.
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite) and supply chain analytics tools.
- Strong negotiation skills with a deep understanding of global market trends and vendor risk management.
- Professional certification such as CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management) or CSCP is highly desirable.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and analytical problem-solving abilities.
