Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive global procurement strategies to ensure supply chain continuity.
- Negotiate high-value contracts with tier-one suppliers to achieve optimal pricing and payment terms.
- Analyze market trends and economic factors to mitigate risks and capitalize on cost-saving opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional leadership teams to align purchasing efforts with production schedules.
- Oversee supplier performance evaluation programs to ensure quality standards and delivery timelines are met.
- Implement lean procurement processes to reduce operational overhead and improve procurement cycle times.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in strategic purchasing or procurement management.
- Proven track record of managing multi-million dollar annual spend budgets.
- Expertise in ERP software (SAP or Oracle) and advanced data analytics tools.
- Strong certification preferred (CPSM, CPM, or APICS).
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and project management skills.
- Ability to travel internationally up to 15% of the time.
