Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive global procurement strategies to reduce total cost of ownership.
- Lead contract negotiations with Tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers to secure favorable terms and service levels.
- Manage end-to-end purchasing processes, ensuring compliance and operational excellence.
- Analyze market trends and supply chain risks to proactively mitigate potential disruptions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders in Engineering, Finance, and Production to align sourcing requirements.
- Mentor and lead a high-performing team of procurement specialists.
- Identify and implement digital transformation tools to streamline the procure-to-pay lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Minimum 7+ years of progressive experience in strategic sourcing, purchasing, or supply chain management.
- Proven track record of success in complex contract negotiations and supplier relationship management (SRM).
- Deep proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics) and data analysis tools.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across all levels of the organization.
- Professional certification such as CPSM or CSCP is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex financial data effectively.
