Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive procurement strategies to achieve cost-saving targets.
- Manage end-to-end relationships with key global suppliers and negotiate favorable contract terms.
- Analyze market trends and supply chain risks to proactively mitigate disruptions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments including Operations, Finance, and R&D.
- Oversee departmental KPIs, reporting accuracy, and compliance with procurement policies.
- Lead vendor performance reviews and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Mentor and coach junior purchasing staff to elevate team performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience in strategic purchasing or procurement management.
- Proven track record of successful contract negotiation and cost-reduction projects.
- Strong proficiency in ERP software (SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics).
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Professional certification (e.g., CPM, CPSM, or CSCP) is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities in a global environment.
