Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive global procurement strategies to ensure cost-efficiency and supply continuity.
- Lead contract negotiations with Tier-1 suppliers to secure favorable pricing, terms, and service level agreements.
- Monitor and analyze market trends to mitigate supply chain risks and identify new sourcing opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Engineering and Operations, to align procurement with production requirements.
- Manage vendor performance metrics, conducting regular audits to ensure compliance and quality standards.
- Oversee the procurement budget and implement cost-reduction initiatives without compromising quality.
- Mentor and lead a team of junior buyers to foster professional development and operational excellence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in strategic purchasing or procurement management, preferably in manufacturing.
- Proven track record of successful contract negotiation and supplier relationship management.
- Strong proficiency in ERP systems (SAP or Oracle) and advanced data analytics tools.
- Deep understanding of global supply chain logistics, import/export regulations, and inventory control.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Professional certification such as CPSM or CSCP is highly desirable.
