Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive global sourcing strategies to optimize costs and supply chain reliability.
- Manage end-to-end procurement processes, from vendor selection and contract negotiation to performance monitoring.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align procurement activities with production and inventory targets.
- Analyze market trends and economic factors to forecast material costs and mitigate supply risks.
- Lead and mentor a team of procurement specialists to drive operational excellence and process improvement.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, legal standards, and ethical sourcing guidelines.
- Drive continuous improvement projects to streamline the Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) cycle.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in strategic procurement or supply chain management in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven track record of successful contract negotiation and cost-reduction initiatives.
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP or Oracle) and supply chain analytics tools.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage complex cross-functional stakeholder relationships.
- Professional certification (CPSM, CSCP, or CPIM) is highly preferred.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
