Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive global sourcing strategies to reduce costs and improve supply chain resilience.
- Negotiate high-stakes vendor contracts, service level agreements, and pricing terms to maximize ROI.
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers while maintaining a robust audit trail for compliance.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Operations, and Finance teams to align procurement goals with company objectives.
- Analyze market trends and economic data to forecast inventory needs and mitigate supply risks.
- Implement data-driven procurement processes to streamline purchasing cycles and reduce operational overhead.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or strategic sourcing, ideally in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
- Proven expertise in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite) and advanced data analytics tools.
- Strong grasp of global trade regulations, import/export procedures, and compliance standards.
- Exceptional negotiation and communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Professional certification (CPSM, CSCP, or CPIM) is highly preferred.
