- Conduct regular performance audits of vendors to ensure compliance with quality and sustainability standards.
- Lead cross-functional teams to identify and implement cost-saving initiatives across all manufacturing departments.
- Monitor market trends and commodity pricing to proactively manage supply risks.
- Oversee inventory management processes to balance stock availability with capital efficiency.
- Mentor junior procurement specialists to foster a high-performance departmental culture.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience in strategic purchasing or procurement management, preferably in manufacturing.
- Proven track record of managing multi-million dollar annual procurement budgets.
- Expert-level proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics).
- Exceptional negotiation, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
- Professional certification (CPSM, CSCP, or equivalent) preferred.
- Deep understanding of global logistics, trade compliance, and international purchasing regulations.
