Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive global sourcing strategies to ensure supply chain stability and cost-efficiency.
- Lead contract negotiations with Tier 1 suppliers to secure favorable terms, pricing, and service level agreements.
- Manage end-to-end procurement cycles, from demand forecasting to final delivery and invoice reconciliation.
- Analyze market trends and identify potential risks to mitigate supply chain disruptions proactively.
- Mentor and lead a team of procurement specialists, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
- Monitor supplier performance metrics (KPIs) to ensure strict adherence to quality and safety standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders in engineering, finance, and production to streamline acquisition workflows.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Minimum of 7-10 years of professional experience in procurement or strategic sourcing within the manufacturing sector.
- Proven track record of managing multi-million dollar annual spend portfolios.
- Expert-level proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics).
- Exceptional negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail.
- Strong knowledge of global logistics, trade compliance, and inventory management principles.
- CPSM or APICS certification is highly regarded.
