Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive procurement strategies to achieve cost reduction and quality improvements.
- Manage end-to-end relationships with critical global suppliers to ensure reliability and scalability.
- Oversee contract negotiations, ensuring favorable terms, SLAs, and compliance with corporate standards.
- Analyze market trends and supply chain risks to proactively mitigate disruptions.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Finance, and Operations teams to forecast demand and manage inventory levels.
- Mentor and lead a high-performing team of procurement specialists and buyers.
- Implement data-driven procurement tools to increase efficiency and spend visibility.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
- 7+ years of progressive experience in strategic sourcing or purchasing within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven track record in successful high-value contract negotiation and vendor management.
- Deep understanding of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite) and procurement analytics.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable business strategies.
- Professional certifications such as CPSM or CSCP are highly preferred.
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to build consensus across diverse departments.
