Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive global sourcing strategies to reduce costs while maintaining quality.
- Lead contract negotiations with Tier-1 and Tier-2 suppliers to secure favorable terms and pricing.
- Monitor market trends and commodity pricing to proactively adjust procurement strategies.
- Manage the end-to-end purchasing lifecycle, from requisition to purchase order fulfillment.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure material availability and project milestones.
- Mentor and lead a high-performing team of junior buyers and procurement specialists.
- Ensure full compliance with industry standards, safety protocols, and company procurement policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in strategic sourcing, purchasing, or procurement management.
- Proven track record of successful contract negotiation and cost-saving initiatives.
- Expertise in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite) and advanced MS Excel.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.
- Professional certification (CPSM or CSCP) is highly preferred.
