Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans for raw materials and MRO supplies across 15+ categories
- Lead complex vendor negotiations securing 15-20% cost savings annually
- Manage end-to-end procurement processes from RFQ to contract execution
- Analyze market trends and supplier performance data to drive continuous improvement
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and logistics teams to optimize inventory levels
- Implement and maintain supplier relationship management (SRM) systems
- Ensure compliance with ISO 14001 and ethical sourcing standards
- Mentor junior purchasing analysts and develop team capabilities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 8+ years progressive purchasing experience with 3+ years in leadership
- CPSM or CIPS certification required
- Expertise in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and e-procurement platforms
- Proven track record of cost reduction and supplier diversification
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data-driven decision making
- Excellent negotiation skills with ability to manage high-value contracts
- Knowledge of international trade regulations and logistics
