Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive global sourcing strategies to optimize cost, quality, and delivery performance.
- Manage end-to-end procurement processes, including RFPs, contract negotiations, and supplier performance monitoring.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align purchasing activities with production timelines and business objectives.
- Identify and mitigate supply chain risks through proactive market analysis and contingency planning.
- Lead and mentor a high-performing procurement team to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain compliance with company policies, ethical standards, and international trade regulations.
- Leverage ERP systems to maintain accurate inventory data and drive forecasting accuracy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- 7+ years of progressive experience in strategic sourcing or purchasing within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven track record of successful contract negotiation and multi-million dollar budget management.
- In-depth knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics 365).
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data visualization tools.
- Professional certification such as CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management) is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
