Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive global procurement strategies to reduce costs and improve supply chain resiliency.
- Lead complex contract negotiations with Tier-1 suppliers to ensure favorable terms, quality, and delivery timelines.
- Analyze market trends and economic indicators to forecast price fluctuations and manage inventory risk.
- Manage vendor relationships through periodic performance reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Operations, and Finance to align procurement goals with organizational objectives.
- Implement and maintain robust purchasing processes compliant with ISO standards.
- Mentor junior procurement specialists and foster a culture of data-driven decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management.
- Proven track record of successful high-value contract negotiations.
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics).
- Exceptional analytical skills with a deep understanding of cost modeling and procurement analytics.
- Professional certification such as CPSM or CSCP is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
