Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive global procurement strategies to ensure material availability and cost-optimization.
- Manage end-to-end sourcing processes, including RFP/RFQ development, vendor evaluation, and contract negotiation.
- Build and maintain high-impact relationships with key global suppliers to ensure superior service levels and continuous improvement.
- Monitor and analyze market trends to mitigate supply chain risks and capitalize on emerging cost-saving opportunities.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Operations, and Finance teams to align procurement goals with production requirements.
- Lead and mentor a high-performing team of procurement specialists to achieve departmental excellence.
- Ensure full compliance with industry standards, legal regulations, and internal procurement policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in strategic sourcing, purchasing, or supply chain management.
- Proven track record of success in negotiating complex, high-value supplier agreements.
- Expertise in ERP software (SAP or Oracle preferred) and advanced data analytics tools.
- Strong understanding of global logistics, trade compliance, and inventory management principles.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to influence and inspire diverse cross-functional teams.
- Professional certification such as CPSM or CSCP is highly desirable.
