Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive global procurement strategies to reduce costs and improve supply chain resiliency.
- Manage end-to-end purchasing cycles, ensuring timely delivery and quality assurance of materials.
- Negotiate high-impact contracts with key suppliers to ensure optimal pricing and favorable terms.
- Conduct regular market analysis to identify trends and mitigate potential risks in the supply chain.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Engineering, and Finance to align purchasing goals with business objectives.
- Implement data-driven inventory management practices to reduce waste and optimize turnover rates.
- Mentor and lead a team of purchasing specialists to ensure professional development and operational excellence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, purchasing, or procurement roles.
- Strong proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics 365).
- Proven track record of successful contract negotiations and vendor management.
- Excellent analytical skills with advanced Excel and data visualization capabilities.
- Professional certification such as CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management) is highly preferred.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
