Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive procurement strategies to minimize costs and maximize quality.
- Lead complex contract negotiations with global suppliers to ensure favorable terms and risk mitigation.
- Manage the full procurement lifecycle, from vendor qualification to purchase order fulfillment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align purchasing activities with manufacturing production schedules.
- Analyze market trends and supply chain data to forecast material availability and price fluctuations.
- Oversee departmental KPIs and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field; MBA preferred.
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in purchasing or strategic sourcing within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven track record of managing multi-million dollar annual spend portfolios.
- Expertise in ERP software (SAP or Oracle) and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
- Professional certification (CPSM or CSCP) highly preferred.
