Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive procurement strategies to optimize costs and supply chain efficiency.
- Lead contract negotiations with key suppliers to secure favorable terms and long-term service agreements.
- Monitor and analyze market trends to mitigate supply chain risks and identify new sourcing opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Finance and Engineering, to support product development and production schedules.
- Manage end-to-end purchasing processes, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and quality standards.
- Mentor junior procurement specialists and drive a culture of continuous process improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience in strategic purchasing or procurement management.
- Expert-level proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite).
- Demonstrated success in global supplier management and cost-reduction initiatives.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills with executive-level stakeholders.
- CPM or CSCP certification is considered a significant asset.
