Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive global sourcing strategies to reduce costs and improve supply chain efficiency.
- Lead contract negotiations with Tier-1 suppliers to ensure favorable terms, quality standards, and delivery lead times.
- Manage end-to-end procurement cycles, from initial RFPs to final purchase order issuance and performance tracking.
- Conduct deep-dive market analysis to identify emerging trends, potential risks, and alternative sourcing opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments including Engineering and Production to ensure raw material availability.
- Implement data-driven cost-saving initiatives that align with corporate fiscal targets.
- Mentor and guide junior procurement staff, promoting best practices in vendor management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or Finance; MBA or CPSM certification is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in strategic sourcing and procurement, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Expert-level proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and advanced data analytics software.
- Exceptional negotiation and conflict resolution skills with a proven track record of managing high-stakes vendor relationships.
- Deep understanding of international logistics, import/export regulations, and supply chain risk mitigation.
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment while managing multiple concurrent projects under tight deadlines.
- Strong analytical mindset with a proven ability to translate complex data into actionable business strategies.
